Hermann is a grumpy white man we hope can face some truths. He’s misanthropic, no one likes his company, especially in his book club meetings. When Hermann is diagnosed with cancer – pessimist he is – he decides it’s about time to leave the stage. After all, since his wife died 30 years ago, life has been miserable. Hermann sets out to obsessively organize his life’s end. Enter Hanne, a fun, elegant, young-minded, mature woman.
She turns up at his book club. Thing is, she might be a black-widow. A talented pharmacist who might have already killed a few of her husbands. Maybe Hermann can use her to commit a kind of suicide. The drab and bland Hermann uses all his wits and dancing skills to get the widow’s attention and become her next victim. But instead, Hanne breathes new life into his cynical plan…
