Avenida
Since 2014, Avenida has produced fictions and documentaries. The fiction productions include Feature Films as Le Cœur régulier, a feature with Isabelle Carré and Neils Schneider and co-produced with France and Belgium and, The Vinland Club which was an official selection at many festivals as the Beijing International Film Festival and the Sao Paulo Film Festival.
The film received three 2021 Iris Awards including Best Performance by an Actor/Leading Role. On the Series side, the company Avenida has produces the 3 seasons of the popular series Jenny which was recognized internationally and received prestigious prizes including the Kidscreen Award and 4 Gemeaux Awards and nominations as well as the Emmy Kids Award, the Rose d’Or Award, etc. Emilie Bierre, who plays Jenny in the series, won Best Performance in a TV Series at the Young Artist Awards in Los Angeles.
Under the documentaries side, the company produced 2 seasons of the series Bing Bang, as well as Balance Point, a feature-length documentary who received the Prix des détenus - RIDM and was an official selection at the 22nd Brooklyn Film Festival and the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival. Avenida is currently producing two documentary series, Secrets de Villages that will be on Historia in October 2022 and Splash which is currently in post-production. Avenida is developing several fiction projects, among them, an English adaptation of the Jenny series.
