5 x 30' (Spanish, English subtitles)
We embark on a journey from the first pre-Columbian inhabitants to the present generation, all of whom have shaped the island's special architecture in their own way. In San Juan we discover the similarity of churches with the construction of ships that were built more than a hundred years ago in this region. We also take a look at religion which is one of the cultural pillars of the archipelago. Traditions that the Jesuits brought to the island in the old days still characterise everyday life on Chiloé today.
