"Fish Bingo" is not your Grandaddy’s fishing show – this quirky fishing competition format has been optioned in The Netherlands by Blazhoffski., and in the U.S. by Just for Laughs Group and was a hit in Denmark. What happens if you ask people to participate in a weird interactive game and they say YES!? You turn it into a hit live game format about Fishing!! 90 Danes were each assigned a number from 1-90, visible on their clothing. They were paired with a camera crew and sent to various locations around Denmark with a simple task: Go Fishing! Meanwhile, at home, the TV audience has prepared their own Bingo cards. Live, the audience watches the participants fish. For every fish caught, the number corresponding to the fisherman pops up on screen. Do the numbers match your Bingo card!?!? The more fish caught, the more chances you have to win! A massive hit in Denmark with over 110 000 people of all ages playing and watching in real-time, this show celebrates nature, the joys of fishing, and interactive television.
