Bambú, set up by Fernández-Valdés and Ramón Campos in 2007, is now working on a third season of Cable Girls (Las Chicas Del Cable) for Netflix, but is riding high on a broader boom in its domestic drama market, with established players like Atresmedia upping their game and Movistar+ muscling in as well. StudioCanal took a 33% stake in the business in May 2017.
