SBS Belgium calls A&E’s Live PD

A&E airs Live PD: Police Patrol on Friday and Saturday nights

Broadcaster SBS Belgium has picked up the first five seasons of US cablenet A&E’s Live PD: Police Patrol and seasons three and four of paramedic series Nightwatch.

Live PD, from Big Fish Entertainment, follows police departments across the US in real time as they patrol their communities. The live broadcast dominates the Friday and Saturday night schedules on A&E.

Nightwatch, from Law & Order producer Dick Wolf, follows multiple sets of partners in the New Orleans Emergency Medical Services unit as they fight to save lives on the night shift.

The deal, with distributor A+E International, sees SBS Belgium picking up a total of 51 hours of factual content.
