Salto shops for French, UK drama at ITVS

Salto, the French SVoD service founded by pubcaster France Télévisions and commercial networks TF1 and M6, has picked up a slate of French and UK dramas from ITV Studios (ITVS).

The package includes seven seasons of Tetra Media Fiction’s Second World War period drama The Line (Un Village Français). Created by Frédéric Krivine, Philippe Triboit and Emmanuel Daucé, the series was produced by Tetra Media Fiction and Terego for public broadcaster France 3.

Salto has also acquired Tetra Media Fiction and Monogo’s Une Belle Histoire, based on Big Talk’s hit series Cold Feet, along with Macondo’s thriller Speakerine and Beaubourg Stories’ Les Secrets.

ITVS France, Vema Production and Les Gens’ Quand Je Serai Grande Je Te Tuerai is adapted from writer Chris Lang’s ITV miniseries Undeniable, while Piégés is another drama based on a screenplay by Lang, produced by ITVS France, Capa Drama and Be-Films. A Mother’s Son (Tu Es Mon Fils) from Europacorp Television and ITVS France, rounds out the French-language content.

Additionally, Salto has picked up factual drama A Confession, from ITV Studios and Urban Myth Films and written by Oscar nominee Jeff Pope.
