S4C International pre-sells two toons

Welsh distributor S4C International has seen some pre-sales on two of its latest toons, Tec the Tractor and Caribbean Christmas.

Irish broadcaster TG4 has picked up the 39×15' Tec the Tractor, a mix of live-action and animation. Model farmyard vehicles like Tec and his mate Tom the Trailer are put in a live-action farm setting. The pre-school show, produced by Apollo Productions, is wrapped and will be unveiled at MIPCOM.

The UK's ITV has taken S4CI's 25' special Caribbean Christmas, produced by Montevideo. The claymation show follows the chief of a Caribbean island who tries to have a European style Xmas, complete with turkey, Santa and snow. The family show is currently in production and will be delivered in September.

S4CI will also be distributing Siriol Productions' Drums of Noto Hanto, an animated folk tale from Japan. The villages of Noto Hanto must defebnd themselves against an invading army of Samurai. The cel show is completed.
