Russia’s Channel One comes to Life

The Story of My Life format has already been acquired in the Netherlands and Germany

Channel One in Russia has become the latest broadcaster to order a local version of Talpa Media’s The Story of My Life.

The talkshow format gives celebrity couples a sneak preview of how they will look at two different stages in their future and explores how their loved ones react.

The show is in production to be aired on RTL4 in the Netherlands early next year, and a local version has also been commissioned by Vox in Germany.

Maarten Meijs, MD at Talpa Global, said more deals are in negotiation following the format’s launch at Mipcom last week.

“We’re thrilled to bring this talkshow with incredible makeovers and honest interviews with celebrities to Russia with Channel One,” he added.
