RTS Cambridge line-up announced

BBC director-general Tony Hall and Channel 4 CEO David Abraham will be among the speakers at the RTS Cambridge Convention this year.

The event runs in Cambridge from September 16-18 and will explore the theme Happy Valley or House of Cards? Television in 2020 – the challenges for content, creativity and business models.

The event will also examine how content creation and business models need to adapt to face the future, as well as what the next decade holds for public service broadcasting in the UK.

Hall will be chairing the convention, which will also hear from Philippe Dauman, president and CEO of Viacom; Michael Lombardo, HBO’s president of programming; Josh Sapan, president and CEO of AMC Networks; Sharon White, CEO of Ofcom; and David Zaslav, president and CEO of Discovery Communications.
