RTL4 gameshow puts IQ to the test

Dutch broadcaster RTL4 has commissioned a gameshow format from local producer and distributor Vorst Media that sees gifted children compete against intelligent grown-ups.

SlimmerIQen, which premieres on November 23, features candidates selected from different age groups who are tested on their general knowledge, memory, logic, creativity and eloquence.

In some rounds they will compete against each other, while in others they will be questioned individually. In the series finale the winner of each episode will play for the title of HI-Q Star of 2014.

All questions and assignments were conceptualised with the Dutch arm of Mensa, the high IQ society.
