Royals on Tour takes in NZ network Living

Fredbird Entertainment produced The Royals on Tour for ABC

Factual giant Discovery has picked up a factual series about the relationship between the British royal family and the people of the Commonwealth for its Living Channel in New Zealand.

ABC Commercial, the commercial arm of the Australian pubcaster, has shopped The Royals on Tour to Discovery for pay TV audiences in New Zealand.

The show will air exclusively on Living Channel on New Zealand’s Sky TV subscription network later this year.

The two-part series features more than half a century of historical footage and includes never-before-filmed letters written by the royal family and interviews with historians and insiders.

The series was produced for ABC in Australia by local indie Fredbird Entertainment. Craig Graham served as exec producer.
