Roughcut exec attaches to Screen Glue

UK indie Screen Glue has hired a Roughcut TV exec to spearhead its non-scripted development.

Matt White joins Jasper James-founded Screen Glue having served as head of non-scripted at Roughcut, where he covered the entertainment, factual entertainment, comedy and factual entertainment genres.

He will now work with James to expand Screen Glue’s non-scripted slate, focusing on returning series.

At Roughcut, White produced both seasons of comedy chatshow Delete, Delete, Delete for BBC Northern Ireland and Discovery’s Churchill & Me with Hugh Dennis.

He also coproduced two seasons of Tyger Takes On… for BBC3, which follow Outnumbered star Tyger Drew-Honey investigating the modern-day challenges of growing up.

Previously, he worked in production and development roles at a number of other television companies, including RDF, Avalon and ITV Studios.
