Reshet 13 readies The Four

The original version of The Four is in its second season on Fox

Israeli broadcaster Reshet 13 has commissioned a local adaptation of a primetime singing competition.

The Four (13×90-120’) was originally created by Israel’s Armoza Formats and a version has been produced in the US with ITV Entertainment which is about to air a second season on Fox.

The format sees the final contestants revealed in the first episode. The singers must continue to impress a panel of judges to ensure they retain their place in the final four, while other potential contestants can challenge the them by applying via an app throughout the season.

In March, Romanian broadcaster Antena 1 also picked up The Four for local adaptation.
