US movie cablenet ReelzChannel has continued its move into original television content after picking up Steven Seagal-starrer True Justice.
The series sees action movie star Seagal as the leader of an undercover team of cops who take on criminals in Seattle. It is due to air in March next year, according to US reports.
The series is produced by Sojo Productions and Voltage Pictures, in association with Steamroller Productions. Seagal, Nicolas Chartier and Phillip B Goldfine exec-produce. Keoni Waxman directs and co-exec produces.
True Justice has previously aired on 5USA in the UK and Nitro in Spain.
Earlier this year, Reelz picked up Muse Entertainment-produced miniseries The Kennedys after it was dropped by the US’s History channel.
