Red Arrow reels in Real Men

German distributor Red Arrow International has picked up global sales rights to a Danish health show format.

Real Men is produced by Danish prodco Fjernsynsforeningen and was watched by more than half of the TV population in January and February on Denmark’s DR1, according to Red Arrow.

The ProSiebenSat.1-owned distributor has picked up global format and finished tape rights outside of Denmark to the series, which sees five men embark on a journey to ditch their unhealthy lifestyles.

Harry Gamsu, VP of format acquisitions at Red Arrow, said the show offered “fun, with great sportsmanship and camaraderie.”
