Red Arrow gamer returns to Vietnam

Vietnamese broadcaster VTV3 has picked up a second season of gameshow format You Deserve It from German distributor Red Arrow International.

The first season of the gameshow, known locally as Vi Ban Yung Dang (Because You Deserve It), scored consistently high ratings on VTV3, according to Red Arrow.

Devised by Deal or No Deal creator Dick de Rijk, You Deserve It is billed as the first game show where a contestant plays for someone else, as they try to win on behalf of a worthy friend or family member.

The show had a one-season six-episode run on ABC in the US in 2011 and has been remade in territories including China, Spain, Turkey and the Middle East.
