Ready Steady Cook returns to BBC1

NEWS BRIEF: BBC1 in the UK is returning its classic culinary competition format Ready Steady Cook to its daytime schedule in 2020, produced by Endemol Shine-owned Remarkable TV.

The show, which originally ran from 1994 to 2010, will return to screens next year for a 20×45’ run hosted by Rylan Clark-Neal. The format sees two opposing contestants, armed with a bag of ingredients they have bought for £10, teamed with professional chefs and given 20 minutes to come up with a dish with a taste test at the end.
