Raw promotes to fill development role

All3Media-owned UK prodco Raw TV has promoted executive Oliver Calleja to senior VP of US development.

Calleja has been upped from head of US development, a position he has held since joining Raw in 2017. He will continue to work on developing titles from the US market and report to Raw’s US creative director, Adam Hawkins.

Calleja has been responsible for commissioning titles including Gold Rush: Dave Turin’s Lost Mine and Presidents at War and is in active development for numerous networks including CNN, Disney+, Discovery, Netflix, History and A&E.

Prior to joining Raw he served as head of international development at Banijay-owned prodco RDF Television as well as working as a producer at Zig Zag and Firecracker.

Raw has made big waves in the documentary space over the past 18 months with its feature doc Three Identical Strangers winning multiple awards and its recent Netflix three-parter Don’t F**k With Cats drawing headlines around the world.
