Quintus stocks up on France TV factual

France TV Studio’s Extreme Trades takes to the high seas

German content agency Quintus Studios has acquired a variety of documentaries for its on-demand channels Free Documentary and Free Real.

Quintus has brokered a deal with France TV Distribution, which manages all the rights for pubcaster France Télévisions.

The deal includes documentary series Extreme Trades (4×60’), produced by France TV Studio, which follows people who perform some of the most dangerous jobs in the world on the high seas.

Other acquisitions include Masters of Engineering (2×60’), a coproduction from France Télévisions and 2P2L, distributed by Parisian company Lucky You; Interscoop’s Exceptional Transportation (1×60’); and The Challenge of Bridge Maintenance (1×52), which is also produced by Hong Kong’s Ampersand.
