Germany’s ProSiebenSat.1 Group has grown its programming deal with Twentieth Century Fox to include pay TV and catch-up rights to shows such as hit US drama This is Us.

The deal, extended on a “long-term basis,” provides the German broadcaster with dramas including Deadpool and animated movies such as Ice Age: Collision Course.

Also covered by the agreement are movie Alien: Covenant and TV drama The Mick, while This Is Us will air from May 24.

Rüdiger Böss, exec VP of group programming acquisitions at ProSiebenSat.1, said: “Be it big-budget blockbusters or strong series, the studio delivers exactly the kind of television our viewers want to see. The deal also allows us to offer Fox’s first-class entertainment on all platforms.”
