ProSieben claims Quintus quota

Germany’s Quintus Media has signed a three-year content deal to provide programming to ProSiebenSat.1’s new documentary channel Kabel Eins Doku (K1 Doku).

The agreement will see Quintus contribute a total of 90 hours of programming to K1 Doku’s slate. The new channel targets males between the ages of 40 and 64.

Programmes include science documentaries Mighty Ships, Mighty Planes and Mighty Cruise Ships from producer Exploration Production and history titles The Rise of the Nazi Party and Great Crimes and Trials’ from IMG. Deadly Shootouts, from US-based Principal Media, also heads to the new channel.
