ProSieben catches Windfall’s rail series

15 Billion Pound Railway from Windfall Films looks at London’s Crossrail project

German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 has acquired the first two seasons of a show about London’s new subterranean railway from distributor Quintus Media.

15 Billion Pound Railway (5×60’) was produced by UK-based Windfall Films for the BBC and follows a team of more than 10,000 engineers and construction workers as they build Crossrail under London.

It will air on the German company’s male-skewing free-to-air documentary channel Kabel Eins Doku (K1 Doku).

ProSieben has also acquired Wedding Surprises: Caught on Camera (2×60’) from UK-based Silverlining Rights. The show is produced by ITN Productions and offers clips of the best and worst of proposals, ceremonies, receptions and honeymoons.

Finally, WeltN24 has picked up season four of Mighty Planes (5×60’), produced by Canadian producer Exploration Inc.
