Portfolio seals Doki deals

Broadcasters in Canada and Norway have acquired Portfolio Entertainment’s Doki, the children’s series originally commissioned by Discovery Kids Latin America.

Doki (26×30′) will air in Canada on TVO and Knowledge Network, while Norwegian pubcaster NRK will also be adding the show to its line-up.

The series is based on the Discovery Kids Latin America mascot and was developed by JBMW Media and produced and distributed by Canada’s Portfolio.

Elsewhere, United Arab Emirates children’s channel E-Junior has acquired season two of preschool series The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That! (20×30′), which is also distributed by Portfolio.

Finally, BBC Kids in Canada has picked up RoboRoach (52×30′) – an animated series about cockroach Reg and his half-robot, half-cockroach brother Rube – from Portfolio.
