Pluto TV dines in on Gusto content

Baking show Flour Power with Jessica McGovern

US-based OTT service Pluto TV has picked up 75 hours of original cookery content in a package deal with Canada’s Gusto Worldwide Media.

Eight original series and four specials from the culinary specialist producer and broadcaster will be made available on the free streaming platform.

The series include season one of Fish the Dish (15×30′), which teaches viewers how to clean, cook and serve up seafood; Flour Power (13×30′), where host Jessica McGovern whips up baked treats; and Crate to Plate (4×30′), which tells of the journeys that ingredients take.

The other series are The Urban Vegetarian (15×30′), Spencer’s BIG 30 (13×30′), One World Kitchen S1 (15×30′), S1-3 of Licence to Grill (39×30′) and Cook Like a Chef S1 (25×30′).

The deal also covers specials Watts Up for the Holidays: Spencer’s Ultimate Christmas Recipes (1×60′), Spencer & Robert’s Game Day Buffet (1×60′), One World Kitchen Bakes the Holidays (1×60′) and One World Kitchen: Our Favourite Holiday Recipes (1×60′).

Originally launched as an independent producer and broadcaster, Gusto was acquired by Canadian broadcast group Bell Media in 2016.
