Pluto TV channels land on My5

Worst Cooks in America airs on Pluto TV Food

The UK ‘s Channel 5 has struck a deal with US streamer Pluto TV that will see the terrestrial broadcaster add three of Pluto’s channels to its on-demand service, My5.

My5 will launch Pluto TV Drama, Pluto TV Movies and Pluto TV Food channels. Both C5 and Pluto TV are now owned by Viacom International Media Networks, after Viacom bought the US free streaming service in January.

The agreement will add an extra 720 hours of programming to My5 each year and brings its count of standalone channels to 10.

Programmes on Pluto TV Food include The F Word, Kitchen Nightmares and Worst Cooks in America, while shows on Pluto TV Drama include Flood, starring Tom Hardy.

Films on Pluto TV Movies include The Assassination, starring Bruce Willis, Nothing But the Truth, with Kate Beckinsale, and Love Me Like You Do, with Katherine Heigl.

Pluto TV began an international roll-out in late 2018 with launches in the UK and Germany. It launched recently on Amazon Fire TV devices and Amazon Fire tablets in the UK, Germany and Austria.
