Pluto TV adds drama channels in UK

MIPTV: Viacom-owned AVoD platform Pluto TV is launching two digital channels focusing on scripted programming in the UK.

Pluto TV Drama will feature domestic and international scripted TV series, while Pluto TV Retro Drama will feature nostalgic classics from the 70s, 80s and 90s.

Among the titles available via Pluto TV Drama are historical drama The Village, action-drama Ultimate Force and youth-skewing hit Skins.

On Pluto TV Retro Drama, viewers will able to watch shows such as 21 Jump Street, the police show that helped Johnny Depp rise to stardom.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, Pluto TV has offices in New York, Silicon Valley, Chicago and Berlin. It was acquired by Viacom earlier this year.
