Scott Huff, VP of development and production, has been upped to senior VP of development and production, while Elyse Dolbec has become director of development and production.

Huff will continue to oversee Playground’s slate of US/UK television coproductions as well as its productions on Broadway in New York and will work with Dolbec on all TV and theatre activities.

Series currently in development under Huff and Dolbec include Starz’s The System, which explores the world of college football and is based on the eponymous book by investigative reporters Jeff Benedict and Armen Keteyian.

The pair are also working with Playground’s UK team on series such as The Kills, a conspiracy thriller for the BBC and Starz set in post war Iraq; Chimerica, a four hour miniseries that explores US/China relations; and The New Odyssey, a series about the refugee crisis.

The latter two series are “in active development with UK broadcasters,” according to Playground.

The reshuffle in the US comes after Louise Pedersen, UK MD of Playground Television in the UK, announced her return to All3Media International as CEO over the summer.
