Pip Ahoy! sails for Ireland

MIPCOM: Preschool animated show Pip Ahoy! has been licensed to Cartoon Network UK and Irish pubcaster RTÉ.

Made by CHF Entertainment (fka Cosgrove Hall Films) and distributed by Monster Entertainment, the series was launched at this week’s Mip Junior on the back of its successful UK run on Channel 5’s Milkshake! block.

Cartoon Network UK has taken UK and Irish pay TV rights to the show, while RTÉ has acquired the free TV rights for Ireland.

The show centres on the adventures of a puppy called Pip and feline friend Alba in a seaside resort.
