Pegg, Frost to tell Truth on Amazon

Amazon Prime Video has secured the global rights to a new supernatural horror comedy show starring Shaun of the Dead duo Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

Truth Seekers, from Pegg and Frost’s UK-based production company Stolen Picture, is an eight-part series in which the pair will play paranormal investigators who look into ghost sightings around the UK.

Amazon will air the show as its latest UK-produced original series. Truth Seekers is written by Pegg and Frost alongside Nat Saunders and James Serafinowicz, who will executive produce with Stolen Picture CEO Miles Ketley and Jim Field Smith, the show’s director.

Truth Seekers will launch exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries. It joins fellow UK-produced Amazon Original series such as Good Omens, The Grand Tour and All or Nothing: Manchester City in the Prime Video catalogue.
