Pastore to leave All3Media America

All3Media America CEO Tim Pastore is stepping down after two years with the US arm of the UK-based production and distribution giant.

Tim Pastore

The former president of original programming and production at National Geographic Channel joined All3Media in October 2018. He replaced Greg Lipstone, who left the firm, along with chief operating officer Dan Donahue, in January 2018 having succeeded Eli Holzman as CEO in 2015.

Pastore oversaw development, programming and production across the US and UK at Nat Geo for four years prior to his exit in May 2018.

The exec said All3Media America would continue “continue to grow and succeed under [All3Media group CEO] Jane Turton and group chief operating officer Sara Geater’s direct leadership going forward.”

All3Media America’s studio is made up of 13 production companies and its slate includes Undercover Boss (Studio Lambert for CBS), United Shades of America (Main Event Media for CNN) and Cash Cab (Lion TV for Bravo).

It also produces shows such as 24 Hours to Hell and Back with Gordon Ramsay (Studio Ramsay for Fox), Top Elf (Main Event Media for Nickelodeon), Chrisley Knows Best (Maverick TV for USA) and Flirty Dancing (Second Star for Fox).

This year, All3Media has picked up commissions for a range of US networks and platforms, including The Cube US (WarnerMedia), Punky Brewster (Peacock), Celebrity Watch Party (Fox), Eye Candy (Quibi) and Celebrity Call Center (E!).

Other deals have included The Circle US (Netflix), 12 Dates of Christmas (HBO Max), Expedition to the Edge (Discovery), Homestead Rescue: Home Sweet Homestead (Discovery) and The Hustler (ABC).

Turton said: “I’d like to thank Tim for his leadership and the expertise that has contributed to our expansion of the US operation over the last two years, increasing our production footprint with the introduction of new partners and platforms, and for managing the business during these unprecedented times.

“He has put us on the path to achieve further growth as we continue to supercharge our non-scripted slate in the US. Our format pipeline is bigger than ever, and we’ll be bringing more and more successful UK formats to American audiences as well as developing original ideas from the US teams in LA and New York.

“The US is an incredibly important market for us and we are committed to increasing investment to drive further growth.”

Headquartered in London, the All3Media group is made up of more than 40 companies based in Europe, the US, Asia and Australasia, producing over 3,500 hours of original content annually for broadcast, digital and theatrical release.

This includes titles such as 1917, Fleabag, Gogglebox, Three Identical Strangers, Call the Midwife, Gold Rush and Race Across the World.
