Tinopolis Group-owned UK sales house Passion Distribution has acquired distribution rights to one-off documentary The Boy Who Tried To Kill Trump.

The 1×60’ film, which aired on BBC3 in the UK as The Brit Who Tried To Kill Trump, looks at the case of Michael Man, the 20-year-old British man who attempted to shoot presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Tinopolis’ Firecracker Films produced the programme, which was directed by Guy Simmonds (The Secret Life of Human Pups).

The documentary was made available in the UK on BBC iPlayer on January 20 and Passion will be launching the show at Realscreen in Washington DC this week.
