Passion packs docs, lifestyle for Cannes

Chilli Hunter looks at the food of Asia, fronted by Tyson Mayr

Tinopolis-owned UK distributor Passion Distribution is taking new factual entertainment, lifestyle and documentary shows to MipTV, including lifestyle series Chilli Hunter and Where To I Do?

Produced by Beach House Pictures and Motion Content Group for Singapore’s Mediacorp, Chilli Hunter (8×30’) follows food-adventurer Tyson Mayr exploring the hottest dishes in Asia.

Wedding series Where To I Do? (8×30’), from Canada’s Bell Media Studios and Motion Content Group, focuses on the important decision facing soon-to-be married couples: where do they hold their wedding?

Also on Passion’s slate, and springing from the first-look deals it signed with Lambent Productions and Renowned Films, are engineering documentary Secrets of the World’s Super Skyscrapers (2×60’), music doc Generation Grime (1×90’) and culinary entertainment series The Peng Life (4×30’).

Further docs include Fusion TV’s investigative series The Naked Truth, with episodes China Queer, Trick Shots and Wasteland on Passion’s slate. Pioneer Productions’ Animals After Dark, airing on the UK’s Channel 5 as Nocturnal Britain (3×60’), is also part of the offerings.
