Passion founder Miles set for exit

Sally Miles, CEO and founder of Tinopolis-owned UK sales firm Passion Distribution, is set to leave the company in the coming weeks.

Miles founded Passion in 2008. She sold the business to Tinopolis in 2012 but stayed on as CEO as the company expanded its catalogue, which focuses mainly on factual entertainment, reality, documentary and lifestyle programming.

Speaking to C21 at an event in London to mark the 25th anniversary of Tinopolis’s foundation, Miles confirmed her intentions to step down, with a replacement to be named in due course.

The company recently added the rebooted BBC series Robot Wars to its slate and is currently shopping a documentary about the attacks on French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo around the world.

Miles previously founded iD Distribution but exited after it was sold to DRG.
