Passion encounters pre-sales

Tinopolis-owned UK distributor Passion has pre-sold a Canadian paranormal series from Discovery Channel into more than 200 territories.

Close Encounters (13×30’) is being produced by Canadian outfit Newroad Media for Discovery Channel in Canada and Science Channel in the US.

It will premiere in early 2014, taking an in-depth look at notorious UFO sightings around the world using eyewitness testimony, expert analysis and CGI reconstructions.

Discovery Networks International has picked up the show for its channels in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia.
