Passion chops Timber for Viasat Africa

Broadcasters in Africa have picked up series and documentary titles from UK-based Passion Distribution.

Viasat Explore has picked up a package that includes Timber Kings (35×60’) seasons one to three and the factual-entertainment series Carver Kings (14×30’).

Other sales include the first two seasons of Mind of a Murderer (12×60’) and the docs Captive for 18 Years: The Jaycee Lee Story (1×60’) and Batman Shootings (1×60’) for Viasat Crime.

Meanwhile, African Business Channel has taken lifestyle series including Charlie Luxton’s Homes By the Sea seasons one and two (14×60’), along with the first run of Selling Houses (20×60’).

The broadcaster also went for seasons four to seven of Motorway Cops (20×60’), as well as season seven of BBC series Robot Wars for its Ignition Channel.
