Paramount sticks with Lip Sync Battle

Global hit music format Lip Sync Battle

Paramount Network in the US has renewed Lip Sync Battle for a fifth season consisting of 12 half-hour episodes, set to premiere in 2019.

Lip Sync Battle is hosted by rap artist and actor LL Cool J and TV personality, author and model Chrissy Teigen and features celebrities lip-syncing songs to win bragging rights.

The show is executive produced by Casey Patterson of Casey Patterson Entertainment, Jay Peterson of Matador Content, John Krasinski, Stephen Merchant, LL Cool J and 8 Million Plus Productions.

The franchise has expanded with a series on Nickelodeon, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, featuring children lip-syncing pop songs in celebration of their favourite artists.
