Paramount pencils in more Ink Master: Angels

Ink Master: Angels sees female competitors from Ink Master travel the US

Viacom-owned Paramount Network, the US channel that is set to replace Spike next year, has renewed one of the spin-offs from its tattoo competition franchise Ink Master.

The second season of Ink Master: Angels (10×60′) will again see three of the top female competitors from Ink Master’s eighth season travel the US and go head-to-head with talented tattoo artists.

The show will return in March 2018, after Spike has rebranded as Paramount Network in January as part of president and CEO Bob Bakish’s plans to revitalise Viacom.

Both Ink Master and Ink Master: Angels are produced by US-based Endemol Shine North America prodco Truly Original. Other spin-offs from the Ink Master brand include Ink Master: Redemption.

Glenda Hersh, executive producer and Truly Original’s co-CEO, said: “The popularity of the Ink Master franchise has grown alongside our culture’s fascination with and respect for the art of tattooing.”
