Parade, Omnifilm link for Lat Am

UK distributor Parade Media has agreed a strategic content partnership with Canadian production company Omnifilm Entertainment in Latin America.

The link-up will help expand Omnifilm’s footprint in the market, with Parade exclusively representing Lat Am rights to key factual entertainment programmes from its library as well as its forthcoming line-up.

This includes titles such as Ice Pilots NWT (73×60′), in which veteran northern aviator ‘Buffalo’ Joe McBryan and his team battle harsh conditions and test the limits of Second World War-era aircraft.

Jade Fever (54×30′), meanwhile, follows glacial deposit placer and hard rock mining efforts in the Cassiar Mountains region and Turnagain River basin of British Columbia, within 100 kilometres of Jade City.

In docs, Cannabiz (1×60′) grants inside access to growers, gangsters and police, untangling the inner workings of the exploding marijuana business and raises serious questions about Canada’s liberalised drug laws.

Pyros (16×60′), meanwhile, follows an elite and fearless team of pyrotechnicians as they travel the globe staging dangerous and spectacular fireworks shows.

Parade Media will be attending Natpe Budapest International 2019, which kicks off next week.
