Panda settles on Sendokai

A Portuguese broadcaster has picked up the first season of Spanish children’s action-adventure toon Sendokai Champions.

Canal Panda will air the 26×12′ CGI series, about four unpopular kids with no talent for sport who must save the planet by learning the art of Sendokai.

The Nottingham Forest-distributed show, coproduced by Kotoc and Spanish pubcaster TVE, is set to air on The CW in the US this year. A second season is currently in development and is slated to launch in May 2014.
