Aussie, Kiwi nets pick up ITVSGE’s Harlots

Broadcasters in Australia, New Zealand and Japan have landed deals for drama series from ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVSGE)’s slate.

SBS and Lightbox have both acquired period drama Harlots

Australian public broadcaster SBS and Lightbox in New Zealand have both acquired UK drama series Harlots, an ITV Studios production for ITV in the UK and US streamer Hulu.

SBS has also taken Spin and Beautiful Loser, two series from French drama producer Tetra Media Studio, which ITV acquired in February.

Meanwhile, a deal has been confirmed with BBC Worldwide Australia for Victoria, The Moorside and Mum to broadcast on BBC First.

In New Zealand, Sky has the rights to a variety of drama for its Vibe channel, including Vera, Dr Blake, Endeavour and Shetland.

In Japan, NHK is set to broadcast Victoria, while Imagica TV has picked up Prime Suspect: Tennison.

The deals were brokered by Carla Ferry, VP of sales for the Pacific Rim at ITVSGE, and Camelia Mowbray, sales executive for New Zealand and Japan.
