OWN gives celebs couples counselling

Unscripted relationship series #LoveGoals

US cablenet OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network is launching an unscripted relationship series in which five celebrities and their partners receive couples counselling.

Premiering in March next year, #LoveGoals will feature: Benzino and Althea Heart – stars of reality series Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta; rapper Coolio and Mimi Ivey; DJ Dee Dee ‘Spinderella’ Roper and comedian Quenton ‘Q’ Coleman; American footballer Dwayne Bowe and Theresa Bowe; and Basketball Wives star Sundy Carter and Breyon Williams.

Guiding the couples through their therapy sessions is therapist and media personality Spirit, who was the host of Fox’s The Daily Helpline.

#LoveGoals comes from Irwin Entertainment, the prodco behind Celebrity Rehab and Couples Therapy. Exec producing are John Irwin, Damian Sullivan and Andy Scheer.

OWN is jointly owned by Discovery and Winfrey’s Harpo Studios. It was set up in 2011, replacing Discovery Health channel.
