Orange scares up first Spanish original

European telecommunications giant Orange has ordered its first original drama series in Spain, pairing with Mediapro-owned prodco 100 Balas.

Author and screenwriter Jose A Perez Ledo is on board the unnamed project, more details of which are set to be unveiled at the Serielizados Fest in Barcelona this week.

The show is a ‘found footage’ horror series, revolving around the disappearance of a group of young hikers on Camino de Santiago.

100 Balas, part of The Mediapro Studio, is expanding into the horror genre with this commission having previously been better known for comedies such as Pepe’s Beach Bar for Mediaset, Olmos and Robles for RTVE and Vote Juan for TNT.
