ODMedia opens German office

Dutch on-demand content services provider The ODMedia Group has opened an office in Germany as it continues its global expansion.

The Cologne office has been opened in cooperation with Germany’s Rushlake Media and will allow ODMedia to extend its services to Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Luise Jansen will join the Cologne team as senior sales manager. She has previously held sales positions at distribution companies including Tele Munchen Gruppe and Tiberius Film.

“The ODMedia Group and Rushlake Media have already had several successful business endeavours together, so this was the logical next step as we focus on our global roll-out strategy,” said Sjef Pijnenburg, CEO of The ODMedia Group.

Over the last two years, ODMedia has opened subsidiaries in Belgium, Scandinavia, the UK and South Africa.

The company serves as a middle man between content owners and platforms, ensuring the content is in the right format for any screen around the world and taking care of technical requirements, leaving the broadcaster and producer to focus on their core activities.

Rushlake Media MD Philipp Hoffmann added: “Because of the growing importance of the digital market, it has become more and more important for all rights holders to have reliable and strong partners that not only have access to the market, but can also strategically support them in marketing and monetisation.”
