Odd Squad heads to Nick, Da Vinci, SABC

Odd Squad debuted on Canada’s TVOKids and PBS Kids in the US in 2014

Broadcasters including ViacomCBS-owned Nickelodeon and South Africa’s SABC have picked up children’s series Odd Squad from Canadian family and kids’ prodco Sinking Ship Entertainment.

Nickelodeon has picked up the first season of the live-action educational series for its channels in Belgium and the Netherlands, while educational pay TV network Da Vinci Kids has acquired seasons one and two of the show for its feeds across the CEEMA region and its SVoD platform Azoomee.

South African free-to-air broadcaster SABC has also acquired the first season of Odd Squad.

In related news, Slovenian pubcaster RTV SLO has picked up adventure series Dino Dana and sci-fi conservation series Endlings from Sinking Ship.
