North One Australia is now owned by Adam Kay, who was the company’s head of programming, and it will be trading under the name of Mint Pictures. Kay will now focus on “continued creative growth and expansion in that region,” he said.

Kay is MD of Mint while Dan Goldberg, North One Australia’s development producer, joins him there. “Our philosophy of producing innovative content in a creative style will remain the blueprint of the new media company’,” said Kay.

North One Television remains part of All3Media.

The Sydney firm launched in 2007 and has since produced kids’ series Bushwhacked for ABC3, and reality TV series Football Superstar and Cricket Superstar for pay TV firm Foxtel.

“North One Television will continue to focus on the UK broadcast market and other international opportunities particularly in the US,” added the UK indie’s chief operating officer Neil Bailey.
