The two prodcos will adapt Nippon TV’s award-winning series Woman – My Life For My Children for Fox Turkey.

It is the second format deal between the companies, following the Turkish prodcos’ successful adaptation of Nippon TV’s drama Mother (Anne) for Star TV, which has become one the highest rated series of the season.

Fox’s Turkish version is the first foreign adaptation of Woman – My Life For My Children, and is set to air in the 2017/18 season, said MF Yapim president Faruk Bayhan.

“We could not be more proud of the success that our series Mother has achieved in Turkey,” said Atsushi Hatayama, president of international business development for Nippon TV. “Our hope is that Woman – My Life For My Children, which is created by the same creative team as Mother, will achieve tremendous success in Turkey.”

Nippon TV is at the market with a number of new drama formats, including dramas Your Home Is My Business! and Lost ID, as well as non-scripted formats Meet Me There, Ghostwriter to the Rescue and Grab the Chance.
