Nick Jr moves into Portugal

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has expanded Nick Jr’s reach in Europe by launching the preschool channel in Portugal.

The network began airing 24 hours a day in Portugal on November 2 after securing exclusive carriage on cable, digital cable and satellite TV platform NOS.

The channel will feature content including Paw Patrol, Blaze & the Monster Machines and Nella the Princess Knight.

VIMN has also launched catch-up app Nick Play on Amazon Fire TV in Germany, while the Dutch version of the ad-supported app launched recently in Belgium.
