Nice Guys get Fox female version

The Nice Guys was released in 2016

US broadcast network Fox has commissioned an hour-long comedy-drama series based on an adaptation of feature film The Nice Guys from Silver Pictures Television.

The Nice Girls, secured through the producer’s first-look deal at Lionsgate, is a coproduction between the three companies and is inspired by Silver’s acclaimed movie starring Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling.

In the 2016 film, co-written and directed by Silver’s frequent collaborator Shane Black, the actors team up as unlikely partners after a young woman mysteriously disappears.

Silver and Rodney Ferrell, president of Silver Pictures Television, will serve as executive producers on the new show The Nice Girls. Michael Diliberti will write and executive produce along with Ken Kao.

Silver also produced the Lethal Weapon feature film franchise, which has since been successfully adapted as a Fox series.
