Zona Mixta brushes up on hairstylists format

Headmaster was created by Butterfish Group for Belgian net La Deux

Belgian hairstylists competition format Headmaster is being remade for Spain after local prodco Zona Mixta picked up rights from French distributor Widenn.

Zona Mixta is developing a Spanish version of the show, which was originally made by Butterfish Group for Belgian net La Deux in 2016.

Headmaster features professional hairstylists coached by two famous experts as they compete in a series of challenges to be named the country’s best hairdresser.

Widenn CEO and founder Hugo Brisbois said discussions about further adaptations of the format elsewhere where underway.
